Adorable Puppy Huxley Becomes Airplane’s Cutest Entertainer
Flying on an airplane can get boring, even for the cutest furry travelers. But one clever puppy named Huxley knew just how to keep himself and the passengers around him amused on a long flight.
Huxley was sitting next to his owner Ursula on a trip from London to Ibiza. After a while, the little Jack Russell Terrier mix got restless. As Ursula described, “He was sat in the seat next to me but got in a mood which he often does when I don’t pay him enough attention.”
Making New Friends in the Next Row
Huxley decided to abandon his mom and hop over to the empty seat in front of them instead. The man there was happy to have the pup as his new travel buddy. Huxley made himself right at home, completely ignoring Ursula now that he had a new human friend to get pets and cuddles from.
Trying to Snag Some Snacks
But when Ursula opened up a bag of potato chips, Huxley came running back. He tried sticking his head between the seats, desperately trying to grab a tasty snack.
Ursula captured photos of Huxley’s priceless expressions as he strained toward the crisps, tongue wagging. His funny faces had Ursula and the whole plane erupting in laughter.
Huxley kept at it, poking his head through, opening his mouth wide, and even showing his teeth as he tried snatching some chips. But the bag stayed just out of reach, to the pup’s hilarious frustration.
Becoming the Airplane’s Co-Pilot
After his failed snack heist, Huxley went back to the man seated in front. The kind stranger let Huxley relax on his lap, enjoying having such a cute co-pilot.
As Ursula described, “He spent 30 minutes in that seat; the man next to him said he was a very good passenger.” Huxley even offered his paw for the man to hold onto.
Others asked for selfies with the snuggly pup, who was bringing smiles to everyone on board. Huxley the friend-making fur baby was certainly the best entertainment ever on a long, boring flight.
Spreading Joy on Facebook Too
When Ursula later posted photos online of Huxley’s silly airplane antics, he became a viral sensation. As she wrote on Facebook, “Guys I can’t breathe 😂😂😂.” People couldn’t get enough of the sweet pup’s airplane adventures.
Huxley enjoyed every minute of the attention and cuddles from all his new human friends. For the rest of the trip, he kept charming passengers who couldn’t resist this happy, people-loving pooch.
That flight passed by in no time thanks to the cutest airplane pal around. Huxley proved that dogs really are a man’s best friend, especially at 35,000 feet. His playful personality and winning smile made the long journey simply fly by.
