Kaia’s photo showed her seated calmly with her short legs raised and nicely tucked under the seatbelt while her traveling buddy stared adoringly at her. Social media was abuzz when Alyssa Rendon, Kaia’s owner’s sister, shared the picture and captioned it, “Safety First.”

Within a week, the photo had tickled many as it garnered over 400,000 retweets and 1.3 million likes. It also got endorsements from celebrities. Many could not help but point out how adorable the dog was.
