Frodo, The Last Survivor Of Michael Vick’s Dogfighting Ring, R.I.P.

2007 was the year to take lessons from the bravest survivors. The story of the rescue of 51 Pitbulls is incomplete without the mention of the hero survivor amongst them, Frodo. Frodo, accompanied by 50 other Pitbulls. They were all found at the brisk of survival and in the cruelest state ever in Virginia.

Dogfighting: A Soul-Wrecking Act Of Injustice

The police in Virginia revealed how authorities discovered the compound of Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Wick in a sight that depresses their soul.

Michael Wick was one inhuman person involved in the Dogfighting ring, and we hope he pays his fair share for what he has done. The moment police had the warrant to search his home and yard, they headed in the direction. They revealed his true intentions and obsession with dog fighting, a truth that surely books his soul to the world of darkness and beyond.

From enduring horrible torture to being forced to fight, in no time, many of the authorities and several rescue organizations stepped up in support of these innocent dogs who fell prey to the injustice.

Sadly, all the love and care could not make up for the kind of abuse done to three out of the 51 dogs. Several rescue organizations and nonprofit animal welfare associations made collaborative efforts to save the 48 frightened and brutally harassed dogs. A world of kindness, love, and patience awaited them at their forever homes where they were pampered like a king.

Rest In Peace, Sweet Frodo: A Hero For All

Frodo, one of the formerly abused survivors, has emerged as a real hero and inspiration for resistance. He was found in Vick’s yard as a puppy by the police authorities and post rescue lived to be 15 years old. Frodo left for heaven on December 18, 2021.

Frodo spent his last moments with his mama, Kim Ramirez and her daughter Dominique. He gobbled his last bag of steak under the tears of his loving owner. Throughout his life, Frodo lived as a representative to eliminate the injustice against Pitbulls.

BAD RAP deserves significant credit for advocating for these deeply hurt Pitbulls and rehabilitating them. They loved Frodo from their deepest heart core and couldn’t bear his loss. The Oakland-based nonprofit animal welfare organization first announced Frodo’s demise on the social media platform Facebook.

Frodo “The Survivor”: We Love You

Little six-month Frodo was kept in no contact with the other dogs in Michael Wick’s yard in the most damaging environment. The sounds of violence were no less than great terror to baby boy Frodo.

The pain from the sufferings of others that his little ears witnessed left an impression on him forever. It was all evident in his terrified and timid behavior, and not very hard for the other people to see.

The day Frodo first recovered from all this monstrous trauma was the day his true persona and ache for a better life was evident more than ever. He was one perfectly fit ambassador of all the pitbulls out there.

Frodo’s foster parents were a blessing to him, and so was Frodo to them. Since the day he was rescued, one thing his caretakers agreed upon was that he was born to live as a king. The love and attention he received from his family was no less than any king on the throne would happily want to receive.

Their love for Frodo made them want to do everything he really wanted. All this unconditional love and care changed Frodo for the good. He was one cheerful, playful, and sweet Pitbull, unlike the ones described in all those action movies.

Frodo: The Pitbull On A Mission

From breaking typical myths associated with the personality of Pitbulls to helping people get over all those prejudices, it seemed like Frodo had found his mission. The mission is to change the misconception that Pitbulls are dangerous and evil dogs. But Michael Wick’s act of foolishness can make him a perfect fit for evil.

Frodo’s story of discovery, recovery, and happily ever after shows how every dog deserves to live a second chance. The other Pitbull survivors who lived similar lives to Frodo prove how being considerate towards traumatized dogs does more good than harm. The help, care, love, and attention given to rescued pups like Frodo is making the world a better place to live.

Frodo left for the heavenly abode, but his struggle and courage will be forever remembered. The greatest legacy of this praiseworthy Pitbull is inspiring others to stand up for the rights of dogs and destigmatize the prejudices of people.
