A Dog Who Was Surrendered To A Shelter Now Enjoys Playing The Piano

When Sadie arrived at the shelter, her previous owner mistakenly thought that she was a ‘generic mutt,” not knowing that she has a unique Border Collie-German Shephard heritage. However, upon further inspection, it was discovered that Sadie was incredibly smart, nimble and always ready to make humans happy, further showcasing her uniqueness!

New Homes and Forged Bonds

Unfortunately, since Sadie was not purebred, all her remarkable traits were ignored. However, that all changed when a woman from Edmonton, Casi Hofstede, found her and took her in. Casi was blown away by Sadie’s loyalty, charm and loving nature, and knew right away that she had to adopt her. 

Once Sadie felt comfortable enough in her new home, she stunned Casi further, with her obedience and remarkable trainability.  However, what amazed Casi was her natural talent for playing the piano! 

Revealed Hidden Talents

At one point, Casi saw Sadie staring at the piano with such longing in her eyes. However, she also noticed that Sadie looked terrified. Cassie knew how to handle the matter tactfully and encouraged Sadie to try playing the instrument. It was at that moment, that Sadie discovered her love for the piano.

That was all it took to get the ball rolling, and within no time, Sadie honed her skills and flourished into a professional pianist.
