Dog Rescued 1 Year Ago Still Continues to Hug His New Mom Every Day She Comes Back Home

Let me introduce you to Kylo, the rescue dog who is so incredibly thankful for being rescued from a shelter, that he can not contain his excitement and just wants to cuddle and embrace his human mom the moment she comes home.

Megan Sweers, Kylo’s new owner, shared with the Dodo that immediately after she took a seat to remove her shoes, Kylo would climb into her lap so that she could hold him. She also stated that if she did not take a break to hug Kylo, the dog would follow her all over the house with a sad expression on his face until she agreed to hold him.

Bouncing From Place to Place

However, this was not always the case. Kylo was placed into a shelter when he was only 10 months old. When he was finally taken from the shelter, he stayed at a foster home for a considerable amount of time since no one wanted to take home a quirky dog like Kylo. However, that all changed as soon as Sweer and her husband came into the dog’s life.

The Perfect Start

Kylo’s first night at his new home couldn’t have gone any better. Kylo’s mom narrated fondly that the dog would crawl onto her lap, tuck her head into her chin, and immediately fall asleep. It was at that point that she and her husband decided that they would keep her forever.
