Little dog is overjoyed that his family remembered his ‘birthday’ with a surprise party

Presenting Odin, a small Mexican dog huge on showing his feelings, especially when overjoyed. 

Odin’s owners shower him with love daily. However, recently, they gave the little chap extra motivation to show his smile by throwing him a surprise party for his “birthday.”

He’s justified his owners’ choice

Odin has been with Joyce Cetinas’ family, his owners, for 3 years. Since they adopted him, Odin has made them believe their decision to bring him home was the right one every day.

Speaking to the Dodo, Joyce stated that Odin is an extremely loyal companion who loves hugging and playing.

The Cetinas went the extra mile in celebrating Odin’s birthday this year. To let Odin know they all greatly value him, the family arranged a surprise party for the little guy. 

A good surprise party should be surprising. Odin’s party was a great one as, the Cetinas did a damn good job of surprising him. They warmed his heart by remembering his exceptional day. 

The surprise party

For the surprise, the Cetinas had a dog-friendly cake delivered. They also decorated the room before bringing Odin to see it.

When asked about Odin’s reaction, Joyce said that he was a bit confused initially as he couldn’t tell what was going on. However, he quickly realized that all the attention was directed towards him and the cake was his. He was overjoyed. 

A birthday is not complete without a “Happy Birthday” song. The Cetinas sang to Odin and he excitedly gobbled his cake afterwards. 

He loved the cake.

Odin also received and delighted in numerous presents from the Cetinas. But his favorite gift was most definitely the many beautiful and heartfelt hugs and kisses his family gave him on his special day.

The Cetinas believe that Odin deserves more.

His birthday is the day the family adopted him and brought him home. To them, that was the day they all received their lives’ best and most worthwhile gift.

Although they love and pamper Odin throughout the year, Joyce said that the day was special to them. “On this day, Odin entered our lives and has made us very happy since.”

Another dog gets a surprise birthday party

On his 13^th birthday, Bailey also got a surprise birthday party from his family. Bailey’s whole family surrounded him singing “Happy Birthday” while he sat in front of his birthday cake. He excitedly shuffled in his chair while looking to and fro his owners and cake.

In addition to his juicy dessert, Bailey was gifted a hotdog chew toy. His face showed that he was extremely happy.

Conclusion

Our pets deserve all the love we can give them. This includes hugs, kisses, playtime, and even surprise parties. Odin and Bailey are blessed to have owners willing to go the extra mile to make them know and feel they are loved.
