Cheech is rescued
The Waller City Animal Rescue Shelter was honored when a cute puppy was brought to the center. The puppy’s name is Cheech, and he was saved while on the streets of Texas. He was then taken to a big animal rescue center before finally being taken to the newly opened Waller City Animal Rescue shelter.
An unforgettable smile from a happy puppy
The organization’s director, Leah Sipe, impressed everyone when she explained what she saw Cheech doing. She got into the kennel to see how the dog was coping and had to call her colleagues to confirm that she was not hallucinating. When the others agreed to what she had seen, Leah had to take a photo to capture the moment.
Cheech had given his rescuers a huge smile, captured in a photograph. The photo was posted on Facebook to help the center find him a home, which eventually bore fruit. After reviewing all the choices, Cheech was finally given to a woman whose cat had recently succumbed to cancer and was looking for a companion for her dog called Dusty.
